Hi, does anyone have the YELO 800DVD??? What do you think of it. I've heard and read mixed reviews about it. I've just got one and so far the only thing i've found wrong with it is that it doesn't play animated menu's very well. Jurassic park for example....the film starts before the dinosaur has finished running through the screen. And charlies angels.... it doesn't play the bit where they jump out of the helicopter before the fim starts. The film starts immediately. Petty quarrel i know but its a bit annoying. i was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this?? Are there any other grievances like this?? What do other people think of this machine???
Cheers

I've had one of these for a month or so and have not noticed any problems and it's played a fair few discs including Charlies Angels.
Try this; Once the disc has loaded select the menu button, play movie and see what it does then. I have lent my copy out but I am sure it goes directly to the root menu.
I do not have J.P so can not comment.
You may find setting the region coding according to disc may help, it should be auto sensing, if its not just use the factory settings code - EJECT, SETUP, MUTE, LAST, NEXT and you can change the region if need be,) it disables the macrovison protection on dvds so you can connect you dvd player through your video machine using another scart and record your dvds to video, though I do not really see the point.
Try these on the discs you have, and should you just focus on say R1 or R2 discs you can dedicate the player using the hack above.
Failing that get in contact with Yelo or your supplier and seek advice, it may be faulty and you should not have to put up with it "petty quarrel" or not.
Hope that is of some use and welcome to the forum:)
Cheers
