?
Best R4 supplier I have used. All my orders go through devoted unless there is areally special deal at ezydvd like the Swordfish offer. Even with dvdcraves 5% discount devoted still normally are cheaper. Plus I find their CS impeccable. E-mail are normally answered within the next 12 hours by Glenn and problems sorted immediately. The only downside is the shipping and checkout pages but once you get the hang of it it's quite easy.

love me :)
i've only used them once but i was very impressed wih them.
order 6 DVD's that i knew they would not have in stock, they got them in withing 6 days and i had them come through the post on about day 10 (8 working days) after i ordered.
Very fast service, and a good price (the shipping may be cheaper elsewhere for single DVD's but i think Devoted were the cheapest of 6).
Also avoided customs :)
Excellent in my experience. If you're looking for more info or opinions on Devoted try:

Best supplier of those lovely R4 disc's. Just recently I had a disc sent to me with a large crack on it, they sent me a replacement straight away no questions ask. I usually get DVD's delivered in quick time (3 - 4 days)
Top Company
Best thing about Australia, save the vino :D
I agree with all the comments above. Glenn is a top bloke, delivery is quick and efficient (always marked down ;)), mails are answered very quickly and politely and the most important thing ...... they are the cheapest by far, save the occasional offer at Chaos.
Any chance of customs charges with orders over £18 with devoted ?

Just had another quick check of the site & its so blooming ropy that I wont be using them.
They may be cheap, but their website reflects this.
I can see another absound waiting to happen.
What a load of tosh! The worst that could be said of DeVoteD's site is that it's a bit a slow, and sometimes convoluted, but it's secure. Can't fault them as an R4 supplier. Never hit for customs, even on larger packages, and Glenn is great at assisting his customers.
Cannot understand why anyone still shops at EzyDVD or DVD Crave only. Obviously have money to burn.
Sorry Jimmyboy but you can't judge a book by its cover mate.
And if the worse does come to the worst your credit card company protects you anyway. Give them a go and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
I agree Cervaro I don't understand either:nuts:
I agree, Devoted are tops when it comes to service and I really don't see the problem with their checkout system, its a doddle in my experience.
Oh, except right now its not working for me at all - constantly getting errors whenever I click on enter payment info (on first page) or submit (on second page when i get there). I've e-mailed glen and got a quick response saying he was working on it (this was last week) but i've got a feeling its just me as otherwise i'd have expected a post about it here. So, is it just me? :(
I had to order from DVDCrave in the end (for a m8 anyway, so not my money :D ) who are also tops, just cost £2.40 more thats all (for 2 discs). Lets face it, R4 suppliers kick ass, in my experience Devoted, DVDCrave, EzyDVD and FBO are all excellent suppliers and all ridiculously fast when it comes to shipping (same day shipping in most cases) although I think DVDCrave take the honours when it comes to speedy dispatch as i've had dispatch e-mails 30mins after the confirmation e-mail
dave.
I ordered two discs from DeVoteD yesterday and had no probs Dave. I wonder if it has anything to do with them moving over to a new server.

Another happy customer here. Haven't used any other R4 supplier for ages, maybe a year or so. Never had any problems with discs or delivery. Top company.
Excellent company and the only R4 supplier I use, best prices and best service.

The site is crap.
When you try to edit your own details, the site randomly changes from secure to unsecure, plus they mail out your details to you on sign up which kinda defeats the object of online security anyway.

Devoted are damn good. Admittedly their site isn’t going to win any awards but it is linked up to MichaelD’s R4 pages and Glenn will bend over backwards to make sure you get your stuff. Head and shoulders above Chaos, Ezy, Crave etc.

Someone else has just reported that he's been confronted with someone elses personal details when trying to buy a dvd for himself.
Thats the 2nd time this week.
I wont be using them.
Surely if you don't publish links with your session ID in you'd be ok??
Other than that I'd echo most others in this thread - they're damn good, mildly dodgy-looking site notwithstanding.
Does anyone know if they will happily mark down $336 worth of goods (a few box sets).
Also, whats their policy on if things get lost if they are marked down. Am I still covered??

Devoted are an excellent R4 supplier, I use them and Chaos all the time and never had any problems. The only problem I have with the Devoted site (apart from how slow it is) is the search facility you have to try more than one type of search before you know that they don't stock an item.
Been using them for nearly a year and have no complaints

As sampath said, the only reason this happens is if someone posts a link with their session id in, the site thinks it's that person. Problem with the person posting the link not DeVoteD.
If you're happy to pay higher prices for your R4 discs at EzyDVD or DVD Crave then that's your perogative, but then it's your loss too.
I've used devoted many times and have always been extremely happy with their service and prices. I frequently have ordered stuff from devoted and play on the same day and even if play claim to dispatch it that day, the devoted orders arrive first.
Sure the website takes a little getting used to, and I wish I could use a password of my own choosing, but I'll keep going back!
just contact glenn with you choice of password and you'l get it changed
I've used devoted countless time and never had a problem, one time I had a disk come through missing one of the discs, it was sorted no problem and I don't know where alse you'd get the likes of robocop SE, A.I etc for under £12 shipped

But that isnt what happened though.
The person didnt follow a posted link, its all in the robocop R4 thread, and like I said this is the 2nd time this has happened.

I have had a little look into this as with the first instancies both customers were on the system as they followed the same post. This other security breach with some details of a S. Valentine showing up I am not sure how this can happen as there are no details on the system with that surname.
If anyone else has any problems like this please let us know as we take security of customers details very seriously.
Also we hope to have the site even faster at the start of next week.

I've used all the major R4 retailers and Devoted are head and shoulders above the rest, both on prices and service.
Recommended 100% by me.

I've used DeVoteD more than a dozen times and have been amazed at the service. Can't recommend them enough. Even the shipping is impressive - they somehow manage to charge less for shipping than Amazon, and get the discs to your door from Australia faster than Amazon manage from Bedford! As noted above, any CS enquiries are dealt with very quickly, which is most important to me with on-line shops. Give them a go.

I've never had any problems with Devoted. Quick delivery to me in London, efficient and friendly customer service, I have no qualms about using the company again.
My R4 Discs also come from Devoted, unless like said before the rest have a Bargain Title, for example CE3K from Ezy!
Had a Problem just over 2 Months ago, where 4 out of 6 Titles failed to arrive, Glenn has now re-shipped the Titles, and the only Down Side is that I might be charged by Customs this Time round, I'll wait and see.
Always Quick and Friendly responses to Emails, accompanied with Good Prices!
Keep it up Glenn!

Oops, mean't to edit, not quote myself, it now looks as if I like to talk to myself!!
any chance of customs charges (ie with the 2 Buffy Season 4 boxsets) ?
chris I ordered the first season of Angel from them before Christmas, and no charges due to customs friendly declaration.
I'd order the second season too if it wasn't such a disappointment, thank heavens season 3 is cracking.:)

I am interested in using them for S4 of Buffy.
I am better to order the two separate boxsets?
Also how do they store the card details? I have had to get a new CC number and would like to be able to remove the number after I have got the Buffy set.
I ordered both sets of S2 Angel and they came through no probs at all - I'd have no qualms about doing the same for Buffy S4.
Not sure about the cc details though. They store the cards you use within your account, but I'm not 100% whether you can delete the details - I don't see why not though.

If I ordered the two boxsets separately, would I choose the 1-3 DVD at $AU14.00 shipping to get the cheapest deal?

It reminds me of the famous Ringo's security system, CC details on a rolodex!! :D

Why don't you order the boxsets both together and get the free shipping? Customs shouldn't be a problem as Glenn normally marks it down as a gift and with no value.
And yes you can delete your cc details within your account page.
Gotta post another vote for DeVoteD
Started using them just recently - was badly burnt by EzyDVD, then read lots of good recommendations regarding DeVoteD in the forums, then came the Free Shipping...
And, Glenn provides unbelievable customer service. Fast, efficient and never leaves you without an answer.
They're my number one R4 retailer!!!

You can edit/delete them to your heart's content within the 'My Account' section.
