gizmo that allows you to use guitar hero guitar with rock band. Kids have guitar hero for wii and rock band (drums from HMV bargain) - anyone used this and if so any good so they can play drums and guitar together - else are there other options?

I thought you could get an official Rock Band guitar from Argos (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=28) for 19.99?

All I could find on Argos was the xbox one, at 19.99, wii and PS3 are 38.89. The original gadget was just the joy of looking sideways on the world wide wobbly or ebay

Oh hell I've just bought a Wii version of the Beatles Value pack and GH5 s/w for my nephews Xmas pres thinking they'd work together, are you saying they won't??

Afraid not :(

For the Wii, the Guitar Hero equipment seems to be the way to go. They're compatible with Rock Band 2 (and I assume Rock Band Beatles but it doesn't say). Sadly nothing is compatible with Rock Band 1, unless you use that extra peripheral described above.

Oh bugger, well I'm guessing Beatles RB uses RB2 hardware... correct?

The link above doesn't list GH5 so are we sure its not useable? I'll return it tomorrow anyway.

I now need some modern tunes to go with B-RB as my nephew is only 10 and I can't see him beaing a Beatles fan. Any suggestions as to the best (and cheapest) solus pack? RB2, RB Songpack 1 or 2, or others?
