Cradle Of Fear due 11th March

Hooting Heck! For those in the know, this is a good purchase. I have the uncut video and shall certainly upgrade, BBFC sissors permitting. For those of you who've not heard of this, it's the new film from Alex Chandon of Pervirella fame. Starring members of Cradle Of Filth, Bouff from Bits and a host of slasher legends this is a nasty horror anthology that beats Braindead (Dead/alive) at it's own game. While flawed - It's far too long and could have been trimmed by half an hour or so, it's certainly entertaining and one to show the mates when you're trollied.

Amazon have it on pre order..... Not looked anywhere else yet, though. The Cradle Of Fear website has a breakdown of proposed special features, including the "sickest" making of ever, deleted scenes, and five commentary tracks, each featuring the director under the influence of something different...... Could be interesting, or could be zzzzzzzzz...... They also point out that the film has been trimmed down from the director's 2 hour original cut for pacing reasons. This is a good thing! None of the gore has gone, they say, censors permitting.
