Sadly in French only, and not really a Ghibli either, predating the studio's formation by a few years. Those of you unwilling to take out a mortgage for the Japanese R2 release of Takahata's "Goshu the Cellist" can pick it up in France for a much more reasonable £14.
The French disc contains the original Japanese plus a French dub, picture gallery and a fairly good essay on Takahata's career.
Picture quality isn't the best; the colours are a little washed out, but it's scratch free and certainly above average.
My French is quite rusty, to say the least, but I was able to follow the film with no problems whatsoever. A beautiful piece of work, easily comparable to Grave of the Fireflies in terms of its emotive power.
