Omar Rodríguez-López (Mars Volta): Solo

I have been listening to The Mars Volta quite a bit recently and was wondering if it is worth moving onto Omars solo stuff. I see he has released 6 albums this year :nuts:

I like Mars Volta but have to be in the right mood for them, as I do find the noodling a tad annoying at times. Is his solo stuff full of noodling?

It's ALL noodling. Not much in the way of accessible songs on them, in my experience!

Unless you're a serious fan, I would suggest giving them a miss.

Not that I have anything against the Mars Volta but still... :D
