Through a title update now on LIVE you can now install Crackdown to your HDD

I never really got the whole install to HD thing...does it just load faster this way? Do you still have to use the disc?

Yes you still use the disc, to verify you own the game but the game runs off your HD rather than the disc. Loading times are often quicker, some more noticeable than others but the main thing is the noise factor, and your system will run a hell of a lot cooler because you don't have a disc spinning at 12x :)

MS may tell us they included this with the NXE in case you want to play late at night and have quieter gaming, of course that's pr bs, its because of RROD
