View Full Version : Are there any good SNES books available?
What I'm after is a book containing every SNES game, perhaps reviewed with screenshots. Kind of a "Ultimate Super Nintendo Companion" type.
Does such a book exist?
Thanks:)
Don't know, but you could always locate a copy of the last issue of Super Play (or a late one) they used to list every review in the back with a screenshot (admittedly small)

Do you need all the US/Japanese games? Could be tricky if so. Wikipedia may be your friend.
I just wanted a reference book for nostalgia. I have a SNES and Megadrive/Mega CD packed away, but I don't have the space/plug sockets, for a CRT for it as of yet.
Would be great to flick through a big thick hardback of snes games in alphabetical order with nice screenshots and info.

I sold my entire collection about a year ago - kinda wish I'd hung on to it now. I've still got the badge that came with issue 1 though...

Hmm and I recently threw out all my old Super Plays, Totals, and NMS magazines!
This should be a start chris

Don't know if that's exhaustive though

:lol:Reading some of those reviews in PDF really takes me back

About £100 I think (bargain!) - 6 large official folders with every issue (bar a couple of the specials), every poster/calendar, all in very good nick. I was moving at the time, and needed the space - my copies of EDGE take up enough as it is! Kinda wish I'd just shoved them in the loft for another decade...
I'm downloading JPG of Superplay as I speak. I think it's outrageous to charge for a DVD of scans of something that you don't even own!

I'd love to get scans of SuperPlay - I've got most of them from 1992-1995 in the attic, but they just take up so much space. Got me into Japan and anime as well as realising how screwed over the UK was when it came to games.
Thanks Camaj, it's a good read!
