Dav300 Rgnl Restriction

I have never had problems with rgn1 discs in the past but ive had no joy with the last 2
Final fantasy got as far as the menu then went into a regional map.
Jay & silent bob strike back...sweet FA
Any tips/codes about?......

The mod you've had done to the player is not RCE compatible - not sure who offers versions that are.

Some players that allow scene selection can get around it (Toshiba) by directly trying to run the film from the first scene.

Whilst tinkering, if you switch off the player from power supply then switch on and insert the disc it plays!!( jay + silent bob strikes back, funny)
although final fantasy initially wouldnt, if you press 'stop' and then 'menu' then 'play' you get the FBI warnings etc. then it stops the disc to show the regional map. if you press the 'menu' button it then starts to play the film - simple hey??
