I just finished the Men's Health Survival of the Fittest Challenge (in Edinburgh). It was tough but a right good laugh. I'm not a fan of running but I do like random obstacles. The getting in and out of the bouncey castle was hilarious. Watching grown men winge whilst being trapped inside an inflatable device lol.

Anyways - I want more. Thinking of doing these next year:

(Although this looks a bit much - even for me)

http://www.ythanchallenge.org.uk/

Both are races (the Ythan challenge looks more cross country) with random obstacles chucked in.

Anything else worth entering? Doesn't need to be in the UK... Thanks.

Manchester ran one this year, about a 10k race with obstacles near the City of Manchester stadium i think, can't remember the name.

Hell Up North which you are about to miss is also pretty fun but the obstacles are more natural, large bogs and mud holes, etc.
