As title, is there much of a difference? If buying one for the first time, what's the best to go for? Am I getting much more for my money with a DSi or should I just get a cheap DS?

Get a ds.

The dsi just has a rubbish camera and swaps the gba slot for a sd card slot. The sd card id for cheap download games (which so far are all a bit rubbish)

Well a DS is the big ******* that no one likes so I assume you mean a DSlite vs a DSI.

For what its worth you may as well get a DSI if you're buying one now.

What? No, DSi is waste of money.

Standard DS Lite is the one to go for.

Oh yeah, DS light. I wasnt aware you could still buy the fat ones. Why is it a waste of money, does any of its special features affect gameplay/wifi/anything? An SD card slot sounds like the sort of thing you might need one day (but prob wont).
