OK - I've seen the 1st 3 discs now and it's reasonable, I've glanced at synopises of the rest and it's got hints about the direction the rest of the series takes but I'm not totally convinced. I'd prefer something a bit darker and more off the wall.

Are the episodes so far representitive of the rest of the series ?

yes indeed, dont stop watching now, one of the most satisfying series ever made, one of the best inner turmoil battles aswell. Ep 24 is still one of my fav's.

But if thats not enough, Get End of Evangelion when it comes out, makes the series look like a Disney film.

I agree with the what the others have said on the series.

I got bored waiting for Manga to release the films and ordered the japanese version at the weekend - cdjapan have it on special offer at the mo. Have to watch it on the pc, but should still be worth it.

EoE comes out in either june or july cant recall which, EoE is one of my fav anime movies (even though its not really a movie, just feature length remakes of eps 25 and 26) but it really takes the series to another level which is a great achievment considering what occurs in the series already.

Death and Rebirth is due in June, End doesnt seem to have been given a new date yet... (The R2 is both in a 2 disc set).
