Hi all,

I have been running this setup for some years, but it has been in storage for the last 6 months during my house renovation. All my equipment has been boxed and packaged, keeping it free from dust, cold, heat, etc.

My amp is a Sony STR-DB1070 which is running a 5.1 system of Mission 781's and an REL sub.

I've never had any issues, despite 3 house moves over the years, but after setting up the system again, the amp is only sending high frequency signals to the speakers.... the sub is fine but no low frequencies from any of the other 5 speakers.

I've had a good search for this problem, but cannot find anything. Can anyone suggest a cure, is it worth taking it for repair - or giving up the ghost and investing in a new amp?

Thanks in advance

What speaker size have you got them set to on the amp - big or small?

There's one going on ebay with a starting price of £25 that no one has bid on yet. If you watch the auction it may end up being cheaper to replace it than repair it.

Very obvious, but it sounds like there's something wrong with your crossover settings?
