The tv version of the delightful 1999 film comes to the UK quite quickly after it's US summer run on ABC Family.
10 episodes with the "back ten" of the season coming in January in the US.
Larry Miller reprises his role as the father from the movie and Gil Junger (who directed the movie) directs most of the episodes.
Ethan Peck (Gregory Peck's grandson) takes the role that made Heath Ledger a star.
Not seen it yet myself so no idea if it's any good but thought it was worth a heads-up! :)

I quite liked the film, so your saying it's worth it? Does it continue on from the movie or it is a reset/reboot?

I watched the first 10 minutes of the pilot but couldn't take anymore and switched it off. It was just dull and unfunny. Shame, as I enjoyed the film.

It's OK. The pilot annoyed me but I stuck with it and it's had a few funny moments. Dana Davis who plays Chastity deserves to have her head smashed in, ******* hell, she's annoying. I do like the four leads though.

I thought this was cute and actually funny!
Best line, from 15 year old Bianca: No more NPR*, it's giving me menopause.

I know you're sort of kidding but I do like a wide spectrum of shows and there's room for all sorts of thing depending on one's mood! Yes, I do have an innate love for trashy crap but my personal fav shows of the last few years are things like Mad Men and Damages, both of which I actually brought to the attention of this forum! :p

I definitely do think '10 things...' is a well written show and given time to grow could be a sweet entry in it's genre. In fact, I read the original writer's draft of the pilot script last night and (although it didn't end up in the final aired version) any show that can deftly weave in a 'Cool Rider' reference from Grease 2 is A-okay in my book! :D
