Getting to the end of our contracts and fancy moving away from voda (as they dont seem to be able to bill us correctly) and 3 do some amazing deals, but from what i remember their coverage is rubbish, have things moved on with 3 recently or are they just as bad as they used to be?

We live on the outer edges of a large town so coverage is not the best, our virgin media engineers have to use our house phone as they get no coverage and we dont get any T-mobile signal (unless you stand at the end of the road:?:)

I've been all over the country and never had a problem with their coverage, apart from a weekend I stopped at Anglesey, where I didn't get any signal for the whole weekend.

Other than that it's been fine.

I find its patchy where I live in North Devon, wont work at all around my house, but not had issues once I move up country towards civilization

Works well enough for me. Best advice is to get a PAYG SIM and test out the coverage yourself before committing to a contract.

I've been with them for a couple of years and they seem fine. I get good 3G coverage in all the built up areas I have lived visited, and the phones connect to Orange's 2G network in more remote places.
