So far i've tried Amazon, Play, Virgin, HMV and Blackstar, and the only place that has this DVD is Play and in Region 1 only.

Has this film not been released in Region 2, or is it another one of those titles awaiting a special super deluxe new SE version?

I don't think there is an R2 version but the R1 is excellent

The R2 had been mentioned by Momentum. It may have a 64 page book when it appears (like the others) and possibly a cleaner transfer.

But I'd just stick with the R1. The grainy anamorphic picture suits the material and the extras are top notch. One deleted scene in particular is fabulous.

I've got the R1 at home, but I think (don't quote me on this) that it is R0 not R1?

Has anyone got a R2 only player they can test this out on?

I don't remember where I heard this, but I thought this was the case,

if so, get the R1/0 as the deleted scenes and documentary are great.

Totally agree with you McD about the grainy picture, it adds something...

If the R1 is R0, it WELL WORTH getting - fantastic extras and a cracking commentary...

I don't remember hearing about it being R0..check it in my sig there..nice if it is.
1 under-rated movie, one where the commentary really helped to explain the more twisted aspects of the movie. Surely it deserves a R2 release of at least the same quality?

Ive just checked it on a Sony DVD player I have, which displays the region numbers encoded on the disc during loading.
It is Region 1 only. (The Artisan Special Edition)
