Full Metal Jacket SE

I have looked into getting Full Metal Jacket but all regions are lacking special features. Rewind say that the R1 CE is the best but it has only a collectors booklet and a film cell. I was wondering if a SE is on the way, maybe a 2 disc set if possible.

The current edition is the second release thus far of FMJ (R1 at least), so I can't see anything different appearing any time soon.

I wouldn't hold your breath for any special editions of Kubrick's later films - he wasn't at all keen on extras, and before he died he specified what he wanted included on the Warner DVDs.

In any case, there's not a lot you could add to <I>Full Metal Jacket</I> given the (deliberate) lack of on-set or interview footage - what's included in <I>Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures</I> is pretty much all you're likely to get.

i have the r2 two disc special edition box for FMJ. I think it's a worthy purchase.

Better still, DeVoteD (www.devoted.com.au) in Australia are doing all the Warner Kubrik titles on pre-release (out March 18th) for AU$19 each, shipped - what a bargain!
