Ive just got a catalogue today from Home Service Mail Order and in it theres a multi tool (like the dremel) for £12.99 + £2.99 p&p.

60 Piece rotary tool set contains.......

1 Powerful electric motor 8000-18000 rpm, 20 pc diamond burr set, 10 pc mounted stone set, 1 grinding stone, 6pc sanding drum set, 5pc wheel cut set, 3pc wire wheels, 4pc brass collets, 4pc buffing set, 1 carbide burr, 1 grinder, 4 drill bits, 1 mains adaptor and a carry case.

Looks very good for the money they dont have a website(i dont think anyway) but you can call 0870 600 4477 and ask for the catalogue.

I have orderd from them b4 and had no probs (they have a 30day money back guarantee too!)

Hope that helps ?

Lidl are curently doing a dremel clone for £17.99 with a pile of bits in a plastic carry case. Bought one on the weekend and looks pretty good, but still to use it yet.

Any details i.e. mains/battery ? rpm ?

I might get someone in the UK to get me one and post it out.

Dunno about speed (can check later if you want) but it comes with a mains transformer and the machine itself runs on 24 volts.

The speed is variable via a slider which is on the top of the unit.
