As title really. going to buy either the 6000 or 8000 on thursday. Will absolutely use the usb/ethernet divx capability. Yahoo widgets is nice but not if thats the only difference for the price increase between 6000 and 8000.

Any thoughts? Anyone want to make me cry and throw another TV into the mix?

Are you planning to wall mount it? The only thing I might say was worth waiting for is wireless HDMI which is around the corner.

Humm true. Had forgotten about that. I don't think I'll be wall mounting though, I don't trust my walls! I've just moved into my new apartment and looking to get a suitable tv asap.

I probably wouldn't wait then.

I have the 46" 7020 model and love it.

Didn't take that long to calibrate and have:

SKY HD
Wii
XBOX 360
Popcorn Hour
Blu Ray Player

All hooked up and looking lovely!

jroadley - I was looking at getting the popcorn hour too. Tempted to wait for the C200 but as there hasn't been any new news lately, I'll probably get the A110.

I was thinking of using the samsungs in built network/usb divx capabilities. have you tried this? It would be great to find out from someone who has one already.

I have the TV set connected to my network/internet - only really checked the Yahoo Widgets but don't really use any of the usb stuff either.

Only really play back MKV files and they all come off the Popcorn hour via the Drobo.

Definately recommend the Popcorn though - has changed how I watch TV shows/Movies etc.

Maybe not the best person to speak about it!

What do you think of the speakers? they seem to have had a bad review? Do you use separates?

Thanks

The in built speakers are OK - I just watched some Freeview on them when I first got it.

But everything goes through a AV amp to some B&W speakers. Sorry!

All I would say, if you are spending four figures on a TV - treat it with the respect it deserves and hook it up to a surround system.
