these scart leads are a complete mystery to me??? ive got 2 scart leads....and have just bought a video.Im trying to connect my dvd to the video, so i can tape dvd's.I have the tv(with 2 scart sockets)...a sky digibox....a dvd(with 1 scart socket)...and a video(with 2 scart sockets)...can anyone post clear instructions as to how i should set it up??? i can get the video going without the dvd..or the dvd without the video??? help...its driving me nuts.

I take it you've heard of Macrovision?!? It may save you some time to know that you're not going to get too far with your copying plans... ;)

Personally, I'd feed the digibox through the video, and then onto the TV. I'd link the DVD straight to the TV on the other SCART (preferably RGB).

sorry i didnt know im in the wrong forum....ive disabled macrovision on my dvd...i just need to know the scart setup

Well, that depends if the player has macrovision disabled or not (or if it can be hacked) - i'm gonna stop there ;)

EDIT: answered after I posted, duh.

Need more details to help - will you be recording off sky as well? and are you using RGB output for sky and DVD?

This might give you another option

Scart Control Units (http://www.lektropacks.co.uk/acatalog/bt-201.html). There a different versions of these around, available from electrical stores.
