Is there anyway that the parental control can be turned off fully on the Sky+HD boxes. I know parental control is a good idea etc but I don't have kids and never will. No friends bring their brats to my house either. They're banned from bringing them (I know, I know, bah humbug)
Surely there's a way around it? Will it be amended with the download for the the new EPG? (got my new card this morning...)
I did have a look at the Sky+HD thread but after 8 pages my eyes started to bleed so sorry if it is covered there.
Sky have this all backward. You can't turn parental control (prove me wrong someone) but you can turn it off to watch recorded material? EH?
If Sky have such faith in the pin system you should be able to turn all restrictions off, knowing that only an adult with the pin code could access it to do it.
Or am I beating a very old drum here.

Last time I checked, it couldn't be disabled and Sky said that was due to OFCOM (or similar regulatory body) insisting upon it.

Cheers. That at least makes a little sense. Still stupid though.
