I'm surprised there isn't a thread about this album already.
I bought the cd a few weeks ago after reading Colin's review on the music fix and I couldn't agree more with what he wrote. I'm going through a bit of a pop phase at the moment and while I do like the offerings from Florence and The Machine, La Roux and Little Boots, they aren't anywhere near as uplifting as this album is. Highly recommended.

Heard 'The Show' while on holiday in Thailand. It's a feet in the sand, cocktail in the hand kind of song. Album is great fun.

I bought the album from somewhere (not UK, may have been australia) what seems like a year ago! very chirpy and a great album, barley knew she had come into the UK as they have not exactly pushed her much here sadly.

Still she aint a young un like the others out there she is in her 30's :D

I will say she is unlike anyone out at the moment in my eyes, even talking about her in the same thread as Little Boots, La Roux or Florcne seems pointless :thumbs: but she is female, youngish and sings.
I hear the album before I saw her, when I did it made me smile as she always bloody smiles :lol:

Downloaded this earlier from our Play affiliate, having heard The Show on Radio 1 this morning. Only listened through once, but it's a really pleasant album. So far really liking The Show, Dangerous and Sweet, We Won't Grow Old and Bring Me Down.

I just wish she would tour the UK and come near me :lol: she seems to be on a constant tour, just not near me (she must know me haha).

She (well I assume it is her) Facebook page constantly updates, she is either addicted to the net, or she has someone pimping her stuff on it.
