Damn this film was a big dissapointment, after a good start it just seemed to drag....whats the 3rd one like?

There's a prequil called Ring 0 not seen it though.

I think the problem with the second one is they try and explain to much.

It's still got some top spooky stuff like the mirror in the hotel room.

the problem with the 2nd was it was too slow, it was all over the place with flashbacks too...I agree there was some scary stuff in there though!

and it was annoying because the subtitles were the same colour as the picture most of the time! :D

Actually.... There are 4 ring movies!

Ring 0 - Birthday is the final one to have been made and is quite different to the first two in style and tone. Then there's also Ring Spiral, which I believe was made at the same time as the first film. However, it didn't prove to be as popular.

Agree with all the comments on the movie. It's a shame, because I loved Ring. Also, has anyone else noticed how shoddy the transfer on Ring 2 is? Instead of converting it to 25 frames per second properly, every 24th frame is simply repeated, creating really obvious judder! I've never seen anything like this before, and never hope to again...
