Lagaan R1 sound problems?

hi, just got hold of Lagaan region1, has anyone noticed any low sound problems whilst watching the film?

the volume seems so low, i have to have my tv on full volume to get decent sound.

Yeah I have the same low volume problem on my Marantz amp. Hmm fishy.

very strange, had my dvd player connected through my video, volume was quite low,

put my dvd player to my tv direct and volume is mush better, but not as loud as my other dvd films on same volume on my tv.

tried both my dvd players (sony 725D and xwave900) , and had similar results

i havent tried through my Yammy amp, but i guess sound will be ok through that.
