Star Wars DVD footage on French promo DVD?

Popal, from <b>DVD Alliance</b>, has reported to us that Fox have gone and put footage from <b>A New Hope </b>and <b>Return Of The Jedi </b>on a promo disc that is given free with French DVD mag <B>DVD Vision</b>.

Makes sense when you think about it. Release the Special Editions this year and then the Ultimate Editions (complete with new prequel friendly footage) in 2005.

The re-release the special editions in a box set in 2006...

Then re-release special editions in a different colour box in 2007...

Then re-release them with different coloured disks in 2008...

Then re-release them saying this is the last release ever in 2009...

Then re-release them again (insert marketing BS here) in 2010...

But because these releases are so predictable, there's no excuse for moaning if you end up buying more than one. Just wait for the release you actually want and then don't buy any more.

Makes sense to release Star Wars this year as it will be it's 25th anniversary.
