I watched both these films back to back and what a pleasant evening I had.

First was the gross out comedy Say it isn't so with chris klein and heather graham ... it is very much like a farelly bros' film even though it was directed by another. If you like dumber and dumber then this should appeal to you.

Enemy at the gates was an excellent movie which was a love story as well as about 2 soildiers competing wits. The war scenes were bloody and the sniper scenes had tension. Ron perlman makes an excellent cameo.

Both DVDs had an excellent picture and sound.

Enemy of the Gates is brilliant, its puts the big budget Pearl Harbour to shame :D

Useless trivia: The director of Say It Isn't So, J.B Rogers also directed American Pie 2. :)

I enjoyed Enemy at the Gates. The opening scene was excellent.

The only sour point - if I was to be picky - was that some Russians seemed to have cockney accents. Corr Blimey Comrade!

They could have evened it up by given the Germans Yorkshire accents:)

Yeah the funny thing is that bob hoskins always has a cockney accent in his movies but even he attempts a half decent russian accent in this movie! :)

It's nothing compared to Sean Connery's Russian accent from The Hunt for Red October. :)

The only thing that spoilt Enemy @ the gates was the rather silly love story theme running through out it - apart from that the cinematography (sp?) was brill and well worth buying on DVD

it was ok, the opening scenes were good but it sunk it a muddled love story!
Ed Harris was the best thing in it, you could feel the nastiness of him!!!!!
