Bloody hell, there's no pleasing some people! I'm sure it'd better to have it on BBC1 but perhaps they weren't going to show it? Surely it's better to have it on Living than not at all?

Sorry to drag this from the depths, but did anyone else have Sky+ not miss the last episode of the series on Friday night? Anybody any idea when it is being shown again?

ohh my mum said the same thing today, when sitting down to watch the final :(

i checked out medium on living over the next 2 weeks, its series 1 and its ALL over the place (per radio times) in terms of what episodes it is showing, totally out of order and then 1st jan it shows season 5, ep 1. no idea what is going on with it.

You'll have a long wait. The BBC dumped Medium last year - that's why Living have it.

Final episode ever aired in the US on friday evening. A typically good episode, with a shock opening & a very emotional ending, capped off with a beautiful send-off montage from all the main actors involved in the show.

Thank you for seven seasons of consistently enjoyable entertainment that somehow took a cheesy concept & made it constantly inventive & fresh. You will be missed. :notworthy

Yeah it was a nice way to finish. I wouldn't say it was a typically good episode though, if anything I'm glad it's finished because it's had poor writing for years and they couldn't even avoid that in the finale!

In the early 2018 scene Alison recites a speech, she claims to have written it in the voice of the DA but it's not, it's her voice. Actually it's not her voice but the one that seems to be used by practically ever character on the show.

My other bugbear showed up when Duvallis refused to believe Allison saw Joe. "You dreamed it" etc. He's known her for 14 years at this point, and for 14 years he (and Joe) have refused to believe Alisons visions even though they're proved wrong every single time. I'm all for scepticism but those guys are stubborn!

The ending was sweet, have to admit I shed a tear, god knows why but they got me with that. Even the ending was badly written, the "oh, I didn't know you were there" device for almost each one was cheesy and contrived

My biggest regret was the show wasn't as successful as it should have been when it was truly fresh and original.
