This (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=8&url=http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B002EWRTRY/thedvdforums-21) looks good, especially as the special ed (not cheap!) comes with a live session DVD. Worth shelling out for as he's great live.

Ordered direct from Domino today. I think the limited edition they have has an extra CD (and a poster!) over the one HMV and the like stock. It's been despatched already, despite having a release date of next Monday.
Reviews seem to be positive.

He's awesome.
I ordered this about 3 months ago and the artwork will have my daughter's name on it as a result....

I don't want to make a "best album since Nevermind" type statement, but a few more listens could confirm this to be one of the year's best albums.

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say this *is* the best album I've heard all year.

It's just a shame the drugs on the nu-folk scene are a little more mundane than your usual fare. Can you inject nettle tea?

All you need for James Yorkston is a malt and a pint. :) Seriously, us Scots have a habit of hyping the most mediocre indie-rock. (Consider Glasvegas and the fact Oasis were 'discovered' here.) If there was any justice in the world, Mr Yorkston would be a national hero. Thorneymoor Woods and Little Musgrave are ******* awesome.

And me. Aha, see you pinched "The Great Mephisto". No problem, you can have that one.
Lawyer's letter is in the post.

Saw him play in a tiny Ayr (!!) venue last night. It was more an improvised **** about than a gig but - thanks to my piping up - he played his cover of Song to the Siren which is just fantastic.
Just been listening to this guys 2002 album - 'Moving up country' . Superb.
:-)
Some of songs mention places near to me such as Rufford and Sherwood Forest.
Enjoyed this.

Moving Up Country is his best one imo.
