Probaley because most of it would need a total remaster like putting TNG/DS9/VOY on BD would need.

It shouldn't need to be, The first three seasons were filmed on 16mm but then they went 35mm. Visual effects however were all done on 35mm.

I thought I read somewhere that the VFX were done in SD but glad to hear that was wrong.

It says it includes The Ark Of Truth DVD, but makes no mention of Continuum.

Amazing price. I was paying £20 a season after waiting for them to be cheaper than the usual £45 !!

If you look closely at the writing on the box, you can just make out that it says "Ark of Truth and Continuum" at the bottom, so an excellent price for all the SG-1 stuff...Shame I already have it all.

Can anyone remember if there are difference between R1 and R2? I remeber years ago buy the R1 for some reason. i don't have them any more, can't remeber if it was because of the audio format or the aspect ratio.

For many of the seasons, the UK discs had better extra features than the R1 versions. I think they pretty much synced up in the later seasons, though. As far as I can remember, aspect ratio was identical.

Just had a sneak peak at DVD Rewind and it looks like the R1 had more features in the early seasons but these did appear latter on the R2.

5.1 sound started on S2 on R1 but on S3 in R2. Still a good price may ask for it for my birthday.
