Have you tried Argos with the 20% off code ?

The code expires today btw.

Edit - If it is not a pre-order item the code will not work.

Ok after at least 10 phone calls to various imbecilic tesco employees, I have a result.

It is in stock in my local store (Addlestone, Surrey) and they ARE doing the promotion there. I have just reserved it for later

Total price of game + motionplus + extra motionplus = £47

If anyone is looking to buy the game on its own, looks like Alan's tip of Argos with the voucher will work out best price (£43.99 - 20% = around £35.20) or Toys R Us

Ok thanks Alan, Toys R Us best so far then, or Tesco with extra accessory

Just to add to this, Asda (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=27) have the Motion Plus Sensors on their own for £17, which seems pretty good for Highstreet.

PC World (Instore) today were doing a half price Motion Plus when bought with Sports Resort.

£54.98 total.

Not sure how this compares to some of the cheaper stores overall, but I thought it was ok enough to buy them!

PC World (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=7)

@ The Hut, the motion plus accessory is only £15.73 here (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=81&url=http://www.thehut.com/hut/10042987.product?utm_medium=gp&utm_campaign=gp_games&utm_source=googleprod) Making a total package from them £55.16 delivered. as the sports resort is 39.43

How many of the games require more than one controller for multi-player?

MR.COATES
26-07-2009, 10:42
Most do.

There are some like bowling and wakeboarding (i.e. turn-based games) where you can play multiplayer with one remote though.

Some of those games do have variations where multiple remotes are needed.

Hey Chaps ! I wasnt going to buy it but I was down at Tescos and saw the Daily Mail. In todays Daily mail theres a £5 off any non food stuff like computer games. Minimum spend is £25.

So I asked them if i could use the voucer with the Wii resort deal.

If you want Wii Resort plus an extra motion plus controller its still cheaper to get the package at Tesco (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=79&url=http://direct.tesco.com/product/default.aspx?r=901-4313) rather than separately VAT free instore, unless they do the package instore.

I just ordered this to my local store... tried to get the bundle at weekend but was sold out... Fingers crossed they dont try to fob me off with just the motion plus with the game!

Anyone receive theirs from The Hut yet? I ordered on Monday morning and nothing come yet.

EDIT

just checked the order and it was still "Awaiting Stock Pick"

So they've just lost my order - will go to Play (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=2) instead.

The Hut are also not likely to get my business again after that.

The Hut don't seem to keep anything in stock but dispatch from the distributor when they receive orders. I've given up on them as well.

I like The Hut (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=81) (cos Im a morethan customer and get 7.5% off) but it was quite clear that they dont have any stock of wii motion plus so I ended up cancelling and ordering with Play.com (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=2) couple of days ago. One has been shipped from Play.com (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=2) the other two are in packing since yesterday.

My other two have now also been shipped :D

If you've not already got an account on Very.co.uk - you can get £10 off as a new account type.
The Game and Motion do da costs £39 - remove the £10 - add £3.95 for postage.
Total cost = £32.95.

Sorry - to get the £10 new account discount code for Very.co.uk - just google "Very voucher codes". I think the code is ZG561 - but worth checking again anyway.

Good luck :-)
