Hello there,
Slight problem with my magic eye in bedroom. For some reason my magic eye has decided to stop working. The light on the magic eye is still on and I can still get a picture and sound from sky on the TV, however i can only chage channel from the master box downstairs. Cant understand this as both my sky remotes work perfectly well downstairs and as i previously mentioned the light on the magic eye is on, just will not let me change channel upstairs? ANY SUGGESTIONS??? it is extremely annoying! THanks Katy

I have heard of the circuitry inside the SkyEye's just dieing with the symptoms you describe. The light does not mean it is working, only that it is receiving the voltage up the coax from the sky box. We tried one in our bedroom which would light but not transmit the signal, ended up getting multiroom :D

Only thing I can suggest is taking the unit down to the master box, connecting it directly to the RF2 port and pointing the remote at it there (ensuring it doesn't hit the main IR receiver on the front of the box), if that doesn't work it's dead - if it does, something has changed with your cabling (water ingress maybe).

Turn off the power to the 2nd RF port in the menus, then turn it back on again...

Strangely my parents 'Magic Eyes' have suddenly stopped working - not just one, all of them!

I've tried turning the RF power off, but that doesn't seem to have cleared the problem, anyone else experiencing this?

I've got multi-room at home, so can't test it on my system.
