bbc worldwide are selling on dvd the incredibly rare 1968 tv adaption of hound of the baskervilles with peter cushing and the much sought after mid 70s adaption of count dracula with louis jordan.for some reason they are limited editions not available in the shops,priced £19.99 each.link is bbcworldwide/vet/specialinterests

also selling the tv adaption of picture of dorian gray-you can buy all 3 for £50 .

I have HOUND on order so will report on the quality in due course. I have been informed that DRACULA will be available towards the end of the month.

when i ordered yesterday i was told all three titles would be back in stock early march,apparently they had a batch early feb. but sold out..

Received HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES yesterday with a note aplogising for the extreme delay. A booklet is also in the pipeline and will be forwarded soon.
Picture quality is very good although the production suffers from the usual BBC values of the day - jarring changes between film and video segments. Looks rather like some Dr Who stories in this respect. Considering the quality of Dr Who stories from the same period (1968) this pretty damned good ! I suspect some restoration took place to get it looking like this. Now where is my cheque book - the 1977 DRACULA is also ready for release.
