This is a US Blockbuster idea, & I would say they are right on this issue, as without them, the US video industry would be in serious trouble !
AS I understand, pan & scan is favoured more in the US than the UK, hence the greater amount of full frame options on R1.
Sign it !!!

Anyone else notice the irony that whenever there's a Blockbuster advert on TV they <B>ALWAYS</b> show it 2.35:1 even when the clip of the movie may well have a different OAR. :nuts:

This is a pretty ancient petition, and Blockbuster US has said that they will now try to stock both pan & scam AND widescreen versions, but the more signatures the merrier!

I prefer Pan and Scan, so, down with widescreen. It has a very bleak future im afraid :)
