I am looking for various models of 42" Plasma monitors for installation in a new pub in London.

Does anyone know any suppliers of Plasma screens in London that can supply and install so that I can use a laptop from an office which is quite a bit away and also be used to shiw terrestrial TV shows, ie the tennis etc

Looking to spend between £3-4k and this must include installation....

I gotta tell ya, I think your gonna have a real tough job of finding a 42" Plasma tv for less than £5/6 grand. Thats probably without an installation too. :mad:

theres a panasonic 42 inch for 4K plus Vat

installation is an extra £100. so about £4800 in total.

Given the fact it's a pub you may wan't too think about projection screens as the risk of screen damage is less than plasma.

I found a Vision 42" for £2700 ex VAT today....

specs looks good and it does what the man needs :p

it aint the usual pub I dont think to be honest, so a projector would look out of place I think. Its going above a fireplace to show terrestrial TV and ifthat isnt on, then sample pics of the menu etc and info on the pub being ran from a laptop from elsewhere...

anyways, thanks for the help, but I think I have found what I am looking for.

Not bad price. They wouldn't happen to be these guys http://www.plasma-uk.com/specials.asp If not who's your source? I trust you're not same bubble from BIG BROTHER. You could've had their's @ a good price!

You might get brand for near same price. Try some of these b4 deciding. If you're gonna hookup a PC better check resolution!

Cheers for the links Overlord, I actually saw that price for the Vision 42" on this site Plasma Point (www.plasmapoint.co.uk)

They have a special offer on just now for a 'Corp' package, which includes a 24hr 12 month Swap Out Warranty + Mount (Wall Bracket or Stand) and if you have seen the price for the brackets alone is well worth it.

I have to speak to the manager of the bar to see if its to his liking, but if not i'll prolly order on tuesday for him all going well.
