Do any wedding photographers here have any liablity or indemnity insurance? And if so, who with?
How do you limit your liability in your contracts, or what sort of liability limitation do you write into your contracts.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, both and they're equally essential. I'm with IndemnityGuard.
Some venues will ask to see a public liability certificate before they allow you to shoot.

Cheers RH, I'd already looked at IndemnityGuard, as I'm already with Photoguard. Photoguad also have liability cover, but I'd need to upgrade my cover for that.
How do you word in your contract about limiting liability, or do you not mention it at all?

I don't mention it. IIRC I've £50k professional indemnity and £2m public liability.
I'm not a wedding photographer but I have public liability for my stuff from photoguard (£2m I think) - I think it's vital if you are earning money from taking pictures.
It only takes one idiot to trip over a tripod after all!
