Anyone out there equipped for viewing Astra 1 may like to know that German channel Einsfestival is showing early 70's Top of the Pops editions.
No adverts , no subtitles and no dubbing and they plan to show about 50.
We've had 8 or 9 so far covering 1970 to 1974 and including several editions fronted by Noel Edmonds who blocked all his from being shown by UK Gold in the 90's.
Rather annoying that both appearances due from Gary Glitter so far have been edited out.
Midnight Thursday is the time but there are repeats over the weekend.
We've had Xmas '71 and Xmas '72 already and Xmas '73 is due soon.
