I think 'mostly' has given you a link for probably the cheapest place for cds

Agreed. Shorter link is www.121cdr.co.uk :) Same place, same prices. Lovely. Plus at the moment a free CD-r disc if you look in the special offers section. They're promoting one so giving away a free sample, it seems. :)

I have used these guys a couple of times without problems. Postage is a bit steep if only ordering a few discs but when ordering 100+ it becomes comparitive with computer fair prices.

I ordered the Cd's excellent service...

They rang Thursday morning to confirm my credit card details and the Cd's arrived Fri....much faster than expected ( under 24 hours from ordering to delivery ) considering I'd chosen the delivery option of 3 days I was pleasantly surprised

I too am looking to buy CDRs at the moment. In the past i've used only main brand discs like TDK, Samsung and most recently Kodak... are any of the cheaper brands worth looking at from this supplier... any recommendations on the cheaper discs?

Thanks
Andrew

My main advice is to avoid all silver top discs - the ones with no writing at all and a silver top. These scratch easily and you can lose data. White top discs tend to be pretty decent - the white Discrite ones are pretty good IIRC.

They do a pack of "sample" discs - perhaps get one of those?

I've had cheap non branded before...you know the ones with no writing at all and a silver top... waste of space..
they do scratch too easy..no good when you've got kids handling them..I also have a habit of making coasters with these.

this time I've stuck with a branded name and..so far ..so good.

like MG said order a sample pack..I was tempted

and great service
