I couldn't recomend one - after looking. Spend a bit mor and get something you know you'll like.
It may help if you would be so kind as to tell us the titles of the DVDs in question.

Going Overboard - This has to be a good film, as it stars Adam Sandler. Also stars Billy Zane and Billy Bo Thornton. 4:3 only, but way cheaper than the R1. Also avaliable at Music Box for £4.
Rumble In Hong Kong - Don not touch with anyone's barge pole... Bad transfer, and bad film...
Bruce Lee: The Man, The Myth - Bruce Lee documentary. Can it be that bad??
Fifteen and Pregnant -
Fatboy Slim: Demons - Good DVD Single with making of etc.

a couple of the titles are just about watchable.
Frankenhooker is definatley worth watching if viewed with the right amount of larger inside you.

Six ways to sunday wasn't too bad when i rented that one out the video shop a couple of years back. Quite a violent film if i remember. It was one of the first dvds out. Not sure if it's a keeper though, but it does have one of the most weirdest sickest endings your likely to see on film. For £5 you can't go wrong.
Well theres a few ok ones there:
Class Of Nuke 'Em High
Frankenhooker - Collector's Edition
L A Takedown
Perfvectly watchable for a fiver each :)

Breaker Morant is a great film and the DVD is in OAR. The transfer looks a little soft (certainly in the first few minutes I glanced at this morning) but for a fiver is well worth it.
