Recommend a bridge camera for me please ?

Hi guys,

Heading to NYC next week & wanted to get a bridge camera that would also shoot HD video.

I have a canon 10D that I'll probably be getting rid of as it's too bulky for my needs (why I want the bridge). Was thinking of the canon sx100 but it has pretty bad reviews.

Any suggestions ?

I have the canon sx110 IS and I think it's ok. At the time it was a choice for me between the canon and the panasonic TZ5. The reviews at the time had not much between the two so I chose the canon because of the manual controls and slightly longer reach.
Both have been superceded by new models TZ7 and (I think) sx200.
The canon sx100 and 110 don't do HD video, the sx200 does but you can't use optical zoom during recording. On the TZ5 and TZ7 you can.

Did you mean the SX10 or SX1 ? (Can't help you much there:))
