I've always liked the sound of bongos, congas, etc and thought it would be fun to get some and give it a go! I bought some Natal Spirit ones (about £50), but now they're here, any advice?!
I seem to have ok rhythym and can keep the timing, so that's a good start, but does anyone know of any good sites with advice, or can recommend some good music to practise along to? I like latin American type music, and also African rhythm sounds (I watched The Visitor recently, which finally made me decide to get some!), as well as normal Western type dancey stuff, and am open to any types of recommendations, but I don't actually know any stuff to try!
