I bought a cheap pair of headphones that uses Nicad batteries. They are a replacement to another pair where I used NiMH. With the old pair, I had to take the batteries out to charge which resulted in eventually breaking the battery compartment. I wanted to not have to remove the batteries to charge on these new pair. However, the batteries are a low 300 Mah and my NiMH are 800. The instructions say never charge NiMH batteries whilst inside the headphones. Why is this? I don't want to have to remove the batteries like before. I am thinking that the manual is using old terminology. It even mentions discharging batteries something I haven't done for a very long time.
My plan was to use the headphones like I have always done and then charge when needed overnight.
