Great shots. The Lion one sums them up perfectly. Very regal looking.
Not sure about the B&W one. Maybe not enough texture in the ground. Whats the colour one like?

I only live 40 mins from the lakes, but with the traffic being horrendous tend not to get there as much as i'd like. Trough of Bowland is nice, same going into the North York moors. less busy as well.

Nice pics O/P btw.

Here was the original colour one. It had started to rain quite hard at that point which is why it looks washed out a bit (plus it was cropped quite a bit). Theres not really much texture in the path in this version either :)

This is an alternative crop of the black and white version with the path being less dominant.

Personally I think the black and white version works better as it focuses more on the couple rather than the garden.

Needed to be on a cherry picker to get a really nice shot I think

Probably would have looked better at sunset but I think my wife might have complained had I asked her to wait there for the next 10hrs or so ;)
