There's a suggestion over on DVD Times that the opening credits may be cut.

Unfortunately it's a little confusing: it suggests that the (then "upcoming") R4 version maybe uncut, whereas the R1 is optically censored. However...the review is of the R2 version:confused:

My old VHS copy seems to be a bit more "revealing";) than the review of the DVD suggests.

Can anyone clear this up?

It was on film four recently and I saw it for the first time.
I obviously watched the opening credits closely (thank you Sky+)
If you could elaborate more I could possible help. Not knowing what version Filn four would have shown doesn't really help much tho'.

IIRC, wasn't it the David Hemming's credit goes all soft focus, to hide Ms Fonda's breasts?

The UK dvd is the same transfer as the R1 disc, sadly it is very poorly framed, cropping picture info from all four sides.
if anyone has the Pioneer UK widescreen LD, compare the two & you'll see what I mean.

Ciao Daliah.

Yes, your right, but on my VHS copy, Ugo Tognazi 's credit doesn't do as good a job and at the end of the credits, "Roger Vadim" doesn't do the job at all...
