Are these the proper Gen 1 versions, or the nasty ones where they added all sorts of nonsense over them to make them "cool" and "up to date"?

Heads-up... There's another release of Transformers Generation 1 coming up soon, with new special features and proper remastering.
( The sources used for the previous sets, while slightly better quality in places than the first releases, were from an earlier stage in the production process so a few mistakes slipped through - Blue Optimus, missing laser bolts etc. )

The new one has high quality adverts, unbroadcast PSAs, and the full series release has a round-table discussion with most of the original voice cast.


Good price for this version if you're not bothered about all that though! :)
