I just got an email from Disc Emporium saying they are hopefully going to ship out A.I (widescreen, 2 disc) today for a delivery on Friday/Saturday.

Think it was £20.99 - not sure. They had a pre-order price up for a while but are about/have taken it down.

I actaully ordered it from them - gotta try out new suppliers sometimes :)

You're welcome to use the forums just like any other member, but we would ask you to refrain from posting in threads/posts that carry your name or answer queries directly on the forums as it could be construed as commercial advertising and/or an opportunity to promote your business.

Oh jesus christ slobber - I know you mean no harm, but WTF? I wasn't even a customer of Disc Emporium before I ordered A.I. Yes they sponser the 'other' forums and I moderate their thread - but I am in no way working for them. I was posting saying they were now shipping it - when other people are not.

Can Colin or someone PLEASE tell me what I can and cannot post on these forums anymore as I have no clue.

I get accused on other threads for promoting MT when I haven't promoted them since they left sponsering these forums. So what can I post?

I am severely peeved off right now!

According to your signature, you say that you are a helper of Disc Emporium. I read this much in the same way as when you were the self-proclaimed ********* helper when they were a DVD Forum sponsor. In this capacity you were letting members know when a particular release was in stock or answering/forwarding any queries that were made. If I am wrong in my assumption, then I apologise, but I trust you'll see things from my perspective.

Not that you should need another admin to clarify the situation, as I'm perfectly capable of explaining any issue that you may have, this should hopefully clear things up. You are welcome to use the forums in whatever way you choose, but I would request that you do not create threads or make posts related to any company that you have an affilated interest with.

Disc Emporum is a great company. 1st Class service! I usually order from them when i need something to be delivered quickly and efficiently.

I live really near the shop, which is good to pop into if you wanna buy a R1 DVD and watch it that day. Sandi, what ever happened to that kick arse Setup you use to have, its been replaced by a PC :-(

After having a demo of it, i bought a Home Cinema :-)

Never looked back :D

I was going to help them with order queries - but haven't had a need to - so all I do is make threads sticky for them (upon request) same with the other threads I moderate.

Anyway, I am off from these forums so it doesn't really matter.

Hey, way to go there. Nark the forum members to make them leave, reduce the server load, so no need for an upgrade. What a master plan. :nuts:

N.B. See your point on the non-sponsor advertising, but suggest such queries regarding a members potential affiliations would be better off being discussed with them in private.

Using the ex demo room as office space now! The kit is being demo'd in a shop in Brighouse at the mo. Sure do miss the odd Alan Parsons & Eagles in DTS!

Even my PC sound card doesn't work now - guys didn't like my varied taste in CDs me thinks!

That "PC" we have is a cool toy - check out the picture quality from wherever you're standing!
