Hi,
I've been looking for some decent music DVDs and have come up with a few:
1. Pink Floyd - The Wall (looks good, plenty of extras including 2 docs and some interviews)
2. Emperor - Emperiol Live Ceremony (Live at London Astoria, thats about all i can find out - cant find it to buy anywhere)
3. Pantera - (live sets, videos from loads of songs and interviews)
4. Suede (loads of music vids, didnt seem like there were many extras)
5. NiN? - Someone said they had a DVD - couldnt see one though.
6. Type O Negative (looked pretty skimpy, not many extras or content)
I wondered if anyone has seen them and have any views, or if anyone had any more suggestions? Also, is there anywhere that specialises in, or sells a large catalogue of music DVDs
Thanks :)
Dont forget Iron Maiden Rock in Rio coming soon

This is what i've got:
Tool - "Salival" - Excellent. Buy it.
Anthrax - "Return Of The Killer A's" - Good, but could be better.
Megadeth - "Rusted Pieces" - Good. Megadeth at their top.
Metallica - "Cliff 'Em All" - Interesting.
Pantera - "3 Vulgar Videos From Hell" - After one viewing it gets boring.
Ministry - "Tapes Of Wrath" - Ok.
Type O Negative - "After Dark" - Very funny audio commentary.
Alice In Chains - "Music Bank - The Videos" - Excellent. Buy it.
Alice In Chains - "Unplugged" - Same as above.
Megadeth - "Behind The Music" - Good
Corrosion Of Conformity - "Live Volume - The Movie" - Very good.
Static-X - "Where The Hell Are We..." - Interesting. Buy it while it lasts. OOP soon.
Queensryche - "Operation: LiveCrime" - Very good.
Still waiting for:
Nine Inch Nails - "And All That Could Have Been"
Fear Factory - "Digital Connectivity"
Anathema - "A Vision Of A Dying Embrace"
Plus, there are a lot of bands announcing future releases, like Marilyn Manson, Neurosis, System Of A Down, Machine Head, Slayer, and many others i don't remember now...
Cheers.
Ps - If you need any info on those titles above, just ask...

What i've got...
Metallica: Cunning Stunts + S&M - both very good full length concerts
Metallica Cliff Em All - alright, old footage mostly not the greatest of quality but interesting
Metallica - A Year and a Half in the Life in - chronicles the making of the Black Album, includes music vids and live performances from gigs they did during this period.
Godsmack Live - 80mins, pretty decent.
Rammstein: Live Aus Berlin - 90mins concert, top stuff.
My brother had the NIN DVD and its a great set.

Said it before, gonna say it again....
....The best music DVD by the girth of that bloke from Pop idol is the Criterion Beastie Boys disc.
No other disc comes closes to all the multi angle\ Diffrent remix\ storyboards\ commentrys gubbins that you get on this disc.

With a name like At The Gates I can but presume your a fan of the band,if so why not try Immortalised on the Earache label. 20+ videos (including ATG) and 17 Audio tracks (its double sided). On the same label is Napalm Death, loads of videos with two gigs.
Finally Carcass, gigs and videos(don't have this but I'm ordering it.
All of these are about £12 from play (http://www.play.com)
I've also been after the Emporer DVD,I've seen the video and it's excellent, just imagine it being 10 times better on DVD.
Tool - "Salival" - Excellent. Buy it
that's just there videos on a dvd tho isn't it?
there's a pixies dvd coming out soon, an underworld dvd, a massive attack dvd with all their videos, and several by rem i think :)
and a linkin park dvd :(
pity most good bands haven't done any yet tho, or the ones they have done have been rubbish. has anyone got that suede one btw?
anyway i eagerly await the system of a down and machine head dvd's and i might have a look for that ministry one.
don't know of any specialist vendors but most of the above are listed at www.play.com

Go and buy a copy of Deja VROOOM by King Crimson. Play Larks' Tongues In Aspic (Part 2). Then come back and thank me later once you've stuck your ears back on. :)

Was just going to mention this. This one, Ash and Suede were all in the current Virgin 2 for £22 offer instore. I just got the Ash and Suede ones but have only watched a few bits so far. The Suede one has got a few extras including the option to watch the videos with the band in the corner of the screen, sitting on a sofa commenting on the songs/videos. I think you can watch this separately full screen but it seemed novel.

Don't forget Pearl Jam - Touring Band 2000. Tool's Salival DVD does just contain their music videos, but they are in 5.1 surround and there's CD of rare music in the box as well. Funky.

I've got the Pearl Jam dvd too, good stuff :)
Agree with the 2 posts above Pearl Jam - Touring Band is excellent.
I'd also recommend Dream Theater's Metropolis 2000 DVD. It's got loads of good extras.
