Repairing a C905

I bought a C905 off ebay and it's been working fine for a few months until recently. The sound is distorted through the ear piece, though fine via the speaker. I believe this is a common fault with this phone.

Is there an easy way of getting it fixed?

Judging from a different thread you should be able to get it done under warranty with Sony. Take it into the shop associated with your network or a Carphone Warehouse type place and ask them if they can get it repaired for you.

Or maybe contact Sony Ericsson directly? When I had to send my VAIO away for repair it was quick and efficient.

sony dont cover anyphone purchased off ebay... and you have to sent pop (proof of purchase) when you send it back

Unfortunately there has been some major parts issues with C905 handsets, you might want to talk Sony direct but its likely that even if they are able to repair the handset you could have a hefty fee to pay.
Maybe take it to a dealer and see if they can do it cheaper.
