Since I can't be arsed with that malarky they've lost the sale... Shame, mind... ;)

never ordered from adult, but dvdempire do the same. As do dvdboxoffice, ezydvd and a few others.

i think it's a security thing.

it seems like quite a few places require it now as a way of making sure that you do actually have the card and are not using details from a dodgy source.

It's standard practice to ask for a picture of your card.

Make sure you blank out some of the numbers and you'll be safe.

It's happened to me before, and I don't blame you because I couldn't be bothered either!

I've ordered from them before and this is the first time it's been requested.

Never had a request like this anywhere before - and ordered from Ezy & DVDBO loads...

All i did was put my card and part of my bank statement with the address face down on my scanner. scanned a small .jpg and attached it to an e-mail.

only took 5 minutes.

Never had a request like this anywhere before - and ordered from Ezy & DVDBO loads... I had this too recently, it's a new system they have and you should only have to do it once. As previously mentioned, they just need to know you actually own the card, blank out 4 or more numbers and all should be well.

They deliver fairly promptly as well - do they still have the offers on (spend $xx, get 1 free....spend $xxx, get 2 free....etc etc)??
