The Rock 2 Disc R2?

Does any 1 know when the Special 2 disc edition of The Rock is out on R2.I know its out on R1.

I don't know when its out on R2 but I watched my Criterion disc yesterday and it is a fab film such a good picture. Be careful with the R2 wasn't it cut by the BBFC for a 15 cert?

Having a quick scan of the BBFC doesn't see a resubmitted version - 15 seconds of cuts from a 1996 submission also the DVD extras are there. Treat yourself to the Criterion ;)

According to Melon Farmers the 2 disc R2 has been passed Un cut.

I agree that teh criterion is a great disc, but I would guess the r2 release would have most of the extras and be a little cheaper (especially if it out on r4 too).

I'm also very happy with the Criterion disc. It's a great package and the film is fantastic.
