Definitive versions of 2 horrors??????

Could anyone tell me which are the definitive versions of these 2 horror films to get on DVD:

Last House on the Left
House by the Cemetry

last house on the left you can get on european region 2
e.g. from france

The Last House On The Left - I'd wait a while - but at the moment, the Dutch version is a lot cheaper, doesn't have the forced subtitles, has a slightly better picture than the French. It's non-anamorphic PAL though.

Proxis (http://www.proxis.com) have it for £10-£11 all in.

There will be superior US and UK versions, so if you can wait - wait for these. :)
